My first ever festival I went to was this summer in Stockholm, to Summerburst! I thought why not go big and go to Stockholm for my first festival... and I loved it! We all did! The people in Sweden are so lovely and friendly and the atmosphere at the festival was amazing. It was a two day festival with a lot of different DJs, some from Sweden and some from other parts of the world.

 

David Guetta was even playing "sexy bitch" and we were reminded of some nice secondary school memories. Steve Angello from Sweden played som very nice tunes accompanied with a lot of fireworks closer to midnight. Kygo from Norway were playing "firestone" and we were relaxing with a cider. It was amazing! The most amazing moment for me was when i was jumping in the middle of the crowd to W&W's song "Spack Jarrow". Can't get better than W&W! And not to forget all the other great djs and musicians that were there! Armin van Buuren, Alesso, Icona Pop, Mike Perry, Alan Walker, and many mooooore! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's absolutely crazy how much I have done this summer and yet it feels like I have done nothing! I have been traveling, chilling, working, meeting friends and doing other fun stuff! This summer has gone by way too fast and next week I am already leaving for Sweden... It's been an amazing summer and hopefully it's gonna be an even more amazing school year to come in Jönköping, Sweden! 

 

As I have had no time to share with you my adventures during this summer, I am gonna post them here is quite many parts! :D Hopefully you will have the patient to look at all the pics and read all my stories! 

 

 

In the end of May me and my sis got dressed and went to Ritz in Vaasa. We had an end of season party for all the volunteers that have been working at Ritz this season. The dresscode was your favorite musician. But as all the musicians today dress so casual I decided to go for the 60s 70s Janis Joplin and my sis got dressed as some singer from a rock or metal band. 

We got very good food at the party and we sang a lot of songs and had some games. It was a very successful party! I'm going to miss the people in the fall when I'm moving to Sweden...

 

 

 

 

This new years was a bit different than all the others! This was the first time I met new friends on new years! This was the first time I went to a bar on new years! To this new years party I also made for the first time Jell-o Shots! 

The party started at a friends place in Vaasa with a lovely Pizza dinner from Koti Pizza! After we continued the party with games, small talks and snacks! Just before midnight we all went outside, opened our champagne bottles and cheered in the new year with fireworks! We had a lovely view of Bocks Brewery's fireworks just after midnight! 

 

In Vaasa there is a place called Ritz, that organizes  cultural events, movies and other fun stuff. Me and my sister is active members there, which means that we work voluntarily and we get to go see all the event for free. This place is very cozy and has a large stage for different events and very good movies in the Kino. Ones a month they also arrange open stage so people can come perform live if they want. I have also performed a couple of times on this event. The place is awesome and there are great people here working and volunteering as we do. If you are in Vaasa you should definitely visit an event or just chill and have a beer or two there! If you live in Vaasa you can also become an active member like us or a supporting member that can also get discounts or free entrance to the events! 

 

It's quite a while ago that the Venetian festival was here in Finland, in the end of August. We celebrate the venetian because the summer cottage season is ending. There are no masks or fancy dresses like a real venetian party, just people gathering, mostly at the summer cottages, shooting fireworks. This year we celebrated it at home, with delicious pies and crayfish and a little bubbly. When it got darker we went swimming, in 41 celsius degree water! Super Hot! 

On Friday evening I attended Solar Sound Festival in Rewell Center in Vaasa. There were local DJs playing in the beginning of the evening and in the end there were Tungevaag, from Norway, and Raaban, from Sweden, playing a few tunes. To be honest I was a little disappointed that they didn't play all their songs, but we got shake our asses a whole lot so it was awesome. Visit my Instagram for a short video!

 

This weekend was spent celebrating myself and another girl from the office. Friday I met another intern in Jakarta and we went to a club in South Jakarta. I also got to practise a little Indonesian on the way home, cuz the driver didn't know where to turn :D a little proud of myself there!

 

 

Saturday I spent at the pool, have to get a little brown too when I'm here! Sitting inside all days doesn't make me brown..

In the evening the whole gang from the office plus a couple of more people went to another club. It was so much fun going out with everyone from the office!

 

Friday the 9th of January, me and L had a nice little lunch at Hesburger. Though was there some bad salad in my burger so I went complaining. And it paid off! For dessert I got a very nice "little" ice cream (: 

 

Later in the evening I went to Is place for a little badge sewing meeting and afterwards we went listening to Grand at O'malleys. Some very good music! 

Hade ett "litet" cocktail party igår med cirka 25 pers på 80 kvadrat. Kändes lite fullt när alla var i vardagsrummet!

Jag körde lite lekar som alla tyckte var super roliga så det blev en ganska lyckad kväll med eftersläpp på Leipätehdas.

Igår kväll var jag till klacken med 5 andra härliga personer! Vi hade super kul på resan dit och roligt var det att stå längst fram när Medina uppträdde! Super feelis att stå och dansa och sjunga! Tror också att vi kom med på deras filmkamera väldigt mycket! :D 

Nu har jag också bara 4 dagar till i jobb så får jag tre veckors semester!! Amazeballs! :D

 

Länge sedan sist nu! I helgen har jag jobbat och varit ut med J, M och M (och en kille på T som hängde med lite i svängarna) till Ollivers Inn på UV party. Jag som e så up to date visste inte att det var UV så jag var klädd i nästan helt svart... Men vi fick ju några glowsticks så jag lyste då upp lite (: Det spelades superbra musik och det var en jätte bra feelis där! Kom hem när brevbäraren kom med Vasabladet...

Har nu också fått mitt andra snygga halsband jag skickat efter! By the way har jag och lillsyrran varit till Vasa på loppis idag! Idag har jag också stekt mina första våfflor! Och goda var dom! :D

Håller nu på och läser lite marketing tills imorgon!

Tänkte berätta lite om min helgupplevese denna helg. Jag håller på att skola mig till Tutor för nästa års inkommande ettor till Vasa Yrkeshögskola. Så i fredags var vi på läger till Kalliojärvi, en liten kampingplats, och vi sov fem/sex stycken i en liten gullig stuga. På lägret så blev vi skolade om hur vi skulle hålla presentation och andra viktiga saker en Tutor måste veta. Lägret var bara från fredag till lördag och vi åkte hem cirka 16.00 på lördagen. Söndagen jobbade jag och tjänade lite extra cash. 

En sak som stör mig är när kassan inte vill stämma överrens när man ska stänga och man måste räkna den flera gånger..
